CONDITIONS
CLAIMS FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE
A) Only claims made in writing within thirty (30) days of delivery date
will be considered, and then only if loss or damagehas been reported verbally
to Oriex Courrier Int. within twenty-four (24) hours of delivery.
Liability of Oriex Courrier Int. will not exceed $50.00 or $1.50
per 500g wichever is lesser.
B) Declared Value: Where a shipment has value and an additional agreed charge
per $100.00 of declared value is paid to Oriex Courrier Int. in that
event and if notification conforms with (A) above, then Oriex Courrier
Int.'s liability shall not exceed the actual value or declared value
of the consignment wichever is the lesser.
EXCEPTIONS
Oriex Courrier Int. shall not accept liability where loss, damage,
delay or otherwise are due to: riots, or civil disturbances, acts of god,
quarantine restrictions, labour disputes and strikes, acts of war and dangers
incident to stateof war, nuclear, meteorological, or air traffic disasters,
and inherent characteristic or defect in the consignment, any deed or omission
of the consignee or consignor, insufficient addressing, packaging or marketing
of consignment or non observance or regulations governing shipment of certain
goods under certain conditions.
ADDITIONAL SHIPPING AND/OR HANDLING CHARGES
Where any repackaging or altering of packaging is required, Oriex
Courrier Int. may charge an additional fee of no less than 5$
CAN.
Where any correction or addition to documentation is required, Oriex
Courier Int. may charge an additional fee of no less than 5$
CAN.
Where any address correction is required, Oriex Courier Int.
may charge an additional fee of no less than 5$ CAN.
DIMENSIONAL WEIGHT
Where a cargo's weight per unit volume is such that it incurs dimensional
weight charges, these charges will be additional to regular charges.
TRANSFER POINTS
Some overseas and remote domestic destinations carry transfer point or forwarding
charges wich will be additional to regular charges.
GENERAL
Oriex Courrier Int., and its servants or agents are subject to the
laws, bylaws, customs and regulations of any jurisdiction in wich goods
may be carried.
INSPECTION
Oriex Courrier Int. reserves the right to inspect all consignments.
Oriex Courrier Int. does not accept any responsability for consequencial
loss. |
